Exxon's been pushing a carbon tax for nearly a decade. The lawsuits are BS. If you think carbon is truly killing the planet then outlaw its use for fuel. There are plenty of more expensive, less reliable options. Otherwise this is just a money grab.

I think it's more of punishing a company for deliberately misleading their investors.
