Bama fans overvalue "history" like nobody's business. As if the ghosts of yore help programs into infinity a la Angels in the Outfield
Obviously history is great and helps you obtain and sustain more reality based, objectively measurable resources with which to continue to win. But it's not some finite thing that dictates who the best programs are forever and ever.
