I had no idea they were dodging y'all. Seems as silly as Memphis not wanting to play us in basketball. Fans of both teams lose out and it's doubled in our case since so many in the state are fans of both teams. Whereas playing is a win-win for everybody.

I get what you're saying with Coach K but Duke won't give up that spot easily now that they have it. They're 'new money' in the same way Florida is but UF didn't go back to where they'd been when Spurrier left. He was there long enough to establish something, get the fans rabid about football, and their university completely committed to it. I think Duke is fully committed to basketball now and they'll pay any price to keep it going even after Coach K retires.
