Whats going to be your go-to IF Clemson wins tomorrow

You've got a good team. No one is disputing that.

What's going to be your excuse if you don't win?

Here's the thing. You hang-out over here because you wanna be SEC. You know, we all know, this is as close as you're ever gonna get ... and that's fine. But we've now played in this conference longer than we did in the ACC. We know, Gamecock fans know, these are two different animals. But here's the thing. We're not over on the ACC boards touting how we've got a winning record over the ACC over X number of random seasons ... we're too busy thinking about our SEC schedule, year-in and year-out.

It's tough to compete in this league. It'll beat you up and spit you out. Every single team, every program, in this league, suffers down years .... all of them. Some, like us, more than others, less than some.

If you're Clemson ... there is no excuse for not having an up year every single year, because you play in the ACC. Your schedule, in football, looks kinda likes our does in basketball this year ... except you get to do it every single year.

So do we want Bama to bend y'all over and go-in dry? Absolutely. For a couple of reasons.

Will it make one iota of difference in our rivalry or our yearly game? Absolutely not.

What slays me is that you taterheads honestly believe we'll be down for long. I just lulz at y'all every time I see you, or any of your fellow sheep humpers, honestly try to make that case.

But hey, at least for the next 24 hours y'all can dream about being an SEC program ... yet the truth of the matter, the reality of the situation for y'all, is that it is never gonna happen. And here's what's even more assured. Our rivalry, being what it is, will be balanced for the rest of recorded history in all likelihood. It'll get bigger over time maybe, on a national stage, but it'll always be balanced from here on out ... at worst. Because we play these other programs eight or nine times a year, every year, in front of crammed-full packed houses against SEC level players.

Tomorrow night I suspect y'all will come to that realization fairly quickly. And your username, your play on words ... it's lulz time every time we see it here.

Maybe that makes some sense to you. I doubt it will but maybe, after tomorrow, you'll come to grips with it. Who knows, it's all good in the meantime.

I will not wish you good luck come Monday night ... but I will say that I hope none of your players are permanently crippled. May it be an injury free game on both sides of the ball.

In the meantime, we are already enjoying our basketball season, while it lasts.
