You are exactly correct.
To coin an old metaphor the pendulum still swings both ways ... but the pivot point of the pendulum has been shifted far left.
There is this thing, yin and yang. It applies to everything. And things usually go really bad when the yin and yang are out of balance.
That's where we are now.

Anybody who stands up for Western Civilization is going to be called "far right" by the media.
