All of us are coming at this from different angles.

Alabama fans are not really impressed by and dedicated to Ohio State and Michigan like all other SEC fans are.

Honestly, I never realized there was such a groundswell of support for these two teams by SEC fans.

Alabama has always transcended the SEC and have been a national team, even back in the 20's. Thinking about it, of course Alabama fans and all other SEC fans would see things much differently in terms of who they admire as their football betters.

Alabama fans don't consider any team to be better than theirs, overall, and never really have. This has made us unable to relate to other SEC fans and I can clearly see that now.

And lastly, simply to educate all of you about Michigan's wins, Alabama has won more games than Michigan since the year 1894.

Bama/Michigan records since 1894:

Bama (890-311-44)

Michigan (884-308-35)

Bet all the hardcore Michigan fans here didn't even know that, did they?

Living through Michigan or Ohio State or Notre Dame, in order to feel some type of equal comparison to Alabama, doesn't really work either.

And before you go check, yes, Alabama has the most wins of any team since 1894. If Alabama had started football around 13 years earlier, like Michigan, they would no doubt have the most wins overall.
