Again look at this objectively, in terms off overall perception, where would you go if you had no real ties to either school? Don't get me wrong I'm an Ag through and through but even I have to admit the Texas job carries more weight right now. Maybe in the future that will change but that's not a given either.

I agree, but if the rumors are true, A&M would be hiring now. While I think Strong won't succeed, an 8 win year saves his job, and they were close this year.
