I'm not sure you guys really understand this whole "firing" concept. If the big boss man tells someone "You need to look around for another job"... they're getting fired.

Auburn: Chris Low of ESPN is reporting that “barring a late snag” LSU defensive coordinator Kevin Steele is heading to Auburn to be Gus Malzahn’s defensive coordinator. Sources tell FootballScoop that Auburn’s offer is real; but that LSU is trying to retain him this morning. We also hear that Steele is close to vesting in Alabama’s pension plan….so.
