Considering Malzahn is just 2 years removed from coaching in the national title game, I can't believe elite DC's aren't knocking Malzahns door down.

No one worth a shite is going to leave a steady gig for a one year stint with a lame duck coach. 1.5 million for one year is good, but if you divide it by 2 or 3 years because you're out of work for 1-2 years looking for a job then its not worth it.

They are going to have to guarantee the money to get anyone unless they get someone who's really good at NCAA on XBox Live.

JJ would probably give a good DC a 3 year contract. A good DC wont be out of work 1 year. That is not to say AU will get a good one
