they don't allow jucos, BUT any athlete that qualifies with the ncaa can get into tulane for sports. they don't have to be able to get into tulane like a regular student, which isn't that big of a deal anyway. it's hardly vandy or rice, much less stanford or duke.

they don't even have to be a real student anymore, they can just take classes and get a degree from the school of continuing studies which isn't really the same thing as tulane.

i know a guy who played basketball there and bragged about his media arts degree from the school of continuing studies.

tulane is a good school, but lets not get too carried away.

hell, they might allow jucos now.
