I believe the NCAA pays out 300k per team for APR requirement acceptance if that is the criteria, most of the lower tier bowls would also pay around 600k to 1million per team, which is redistributed per their conferences rules if required.

So yea, missing a bowl like in this case would be somewhere around 1 to 1.5 million for the conference.

The SEC office has plenty of fish in their kettle that need looking at,, this would be one of them.

The SEC could have told us they wanted us to accept the bid. They didn't, and we didn't want it. We have other things to focus on. It's that simple.
