Just a few thoughts on the game last night.

1. Kim must have a sour relationship with one of the refs. The calls weren't BAD per se, but pretty slanted, especially in the first half. Also the Technical in the 2nd was garbage. VanLeer got poked in the eye. Lots of travel calls on us and 0 on them. Definitely slanted.

2. Wouldn't have made a difference. Once Rosburg got 2 fouls, it was over. We have 1 legitimate post player. Gant, Puryear, Allen, are all too skinny or short. Woods is not athletic at all. Rosburg has the size and the technical ability despite his lack of athleticism.

3. We couldn't buy a shot until the 2nd half. Missing lay ups. Wide open shots. Anything and everything, and some weren't even close, as in air balls.

4.Deangelo Allen is the worst player on this team. By far. He is complete garbage. 0 ball skills, no size, no blocking out and rebounding. 0 shooting. Honestly misses more wide open layups than he makes. I don't think it is any coincidence that our best game is the one that he didn't get in at all.

I completely agree with this. I vividly remember a missed put back he had on an offensive rebound. Didn't even touch the rim.

One thing I noticed, I don't know how versed everyone is in basketball, but the guards aren't catching the ball in triple-threat. Every time you receive the ball, you are supposed to at least have a threat to 1.)shoot 2.)dribble/drive 3. pass. Our guards catch the ball around the perimeter and are literally only looking to pass. That's why you always see defenders in the passing lane. If you aren't even threatening to shoot/drive, it makes it that much easier to disrupt the passing lanes. It's frustrating, because it's so fricking simple. That is basic basketball knowledge. You literally learn that in middle school.
