Why Alabama wins big: State just doesn't have enough up front on the offensive and defensive lines to make this a close game. While I can see this defense limiting Derrick Henry and forcing Jake Coker into a few rushed throws, I don't believe Dak Prescott will get the protection he needs to make enough plays in the passing game to keep the score close late. -- Alex Scarborough

Why Mississippi State keeps it close: No way am I picking against Bama after what we witnessed from the Tide last weekend, but I'll always take the team with the best quarterback to keep things competitive. Dak Prescott deserves more national attention than he's getting, and he'll remind us why against a phenomenal Alabama defense -- even if I still expect Alabama to get out of cowbell country with a 30-24 win. -- David Ching
