With our game plan and the players the used to execute that game plan, this game was over before it began.

We tried to punch bama in the mouth and beat them at their own game, and once again, it didn't work.

Wonder what Beefence thinks is the coach's responsibility.

Was it not recruiting QBs for a few years?
What about not signing any DTs last year?
How about trotting out the same game plan for the last 5+ yeras?
What about not making adjustments? It seems if we made halftime adjustments, it made things worse.
What about not blocking gunners on KO returns?
Or kickoffs out of bounds?
Or back to back delay of game penalties?

I could go on, but there's no need to continue.

Honestly, it's gut check time. I believe the team felt like they were lucky to have tied the game up. Even at 13-10 coming out after halftime and after the interception, as a whole offensively, they didn't seem to have that fight in them.

When you go into the locker room at the half as a player you can look around and get a feel of the room. I wonder what it was like at halftime knowing they were only down by 3? I believe these guys may have been more shocked than "fired up". I believe they played hard, but after a half of football, they may have realized they weren't mentally or physically prepared for this.
