The difference in coaching is significant. But Davis developing into a corner that is moving toward "shutdown" can't be overstated enough. It is huge allowing others to focus on their man and freeing up a potential blister. Getting Carl back has added immediate impact to the dline as well.

I agree especially with Lawson. Our DBs were left out to dry earlier in the year when QBs stood their for as long as they wanted too. Having some pressure has definitely let those guys play at a higher level

I have more faith in Davis at this point than Jones. It just seems each week he gets better at playing the ball & getting his head around. He has the size to play against a lot of these big WRs as well

Davis is turning into the next Carlos Rogers. He's the type of player we always see on the opposing team and say " why can't we have a true freshman come in and play at that level?"

A freed blister would be huge bump for our D at this stage of the season.
