Do like this kid's passion. Seems to have the talent and head to back it up too. I don't know why, but I hope/think this is the kid that can quickly become a leader on a team that was sorely lacking a leader last year.

We need someone to emerge. It is easy to say these things when we are 0-0 let's see what happens when we are 8-12 and hopefully he has the same fire.

I hear ya. I fell prey to it last year too and got geeked up at the start of the season. I just think we could have so used a floor general and didn't have one last year. Who knows but can't wait until Friday to see if they continue an upward trend or if we have another UMKC-like showing.

I think most of us would be OK with an 8-12 start...I'm hoping for double digit wins. I know they should be more fun to watch this year, but whether or not that translates to wins remains to be seen.
