Alabama:

O-line play and consistency. This includes the amount of penalties given up, sacks given up, and ability to protect RBs from being tackled behind the line. It switches from series to series though.

FG kicking

Turnovers. Both fumbles and interceptions have plagued Alabama this year.

LSU

Special Teams Coverage. Pretty damn terrible.

Secondary coverage. Shaky at best. LSU gives up at least 20 in each game. Even games when the offense of the other team is less than superior. LSU is lacking a true shut down defense they've had in the past.

Red Zone Defense. Worst in the conference.

Basically, it's all a wash, with LSU having the better overall offensive numbers, and Bama having the better defensive stats. Both teams can still play good defense, and both teams can still move the ball downfield however. So it is likely to come down to which team can work through their own weaknesses and unlikely to be determined by their strengths (LSUs run game, Bama's D, etc.).
