Well, that makes sense because the needs at UGa are quite different than the needs at Carolina. I could coach at UGA and attract a top-15 class. However, lazy recruiting at Carolina is disastrous. UGA needs a productive head coach to maximize the talent on roster. USC needs a recruiter who can assemble a quality staff. This is why I'm more interested in Herman and Smart than Fuente, but only ever so slightly.
To me, if Herman is genuinely interested, he's the best fit, because he can also maximize talent a la Fuente, while being able to recruit and put together a staff a la Smart

That makes sense. Smart is a proven recruiter. Fuente just looks like the next Urban Myer too me.
