Maybe, but that's football. Isn't Alabama's third string whatever better than anyone else's starter?

Also, it was also Chavis making adjustments and going with his jumbo package to stop the run. They did that and also did just fine against the weak Bama passing attack.

Look, Chavis has been a DC in the SEC for, what, 30 years or so (it seems like it). He knows what he's doing. Yes, his defenses have had some late game collapses, but when you play great teams, sometimes they rise to the occasion late in the game.

Now, what he did to us on game day against Notre Dame was utter trash. I'll never forget that. Forgive, sure. Forget, no.
