I haven't read all 5 pages of this thread, but Alabama had another big win in 1922 when Bama went TO Penn and won.

LSU didn't exist in 1908, but the Louisiana State Seminary of Learning & Military Academy did, in Pineville.

Maybe LSSLMA won a football title in Pineville in 1908, but LSU sure as hell didn't.
