Mizzou has won in spite of Mauk, not because of him.

This is a CROCK OF shite!!!!

Is Maty Chase 2.0? Hell no but he's not Ryan Leaf or JaMarcus Russell either.

yea not entirely, Tigercruise has a point.

MM is about 1 part play maker and 1 part disaster.. the weak stats and offensive output don't lie, he really isn't all that good and w/out the defense of DLine Zou the last couple of years would have been pretty forgettable.

What's interesting to me is that Pinkel is basically a play not to lose, don't make too many mistakes, play sound fundamentals and move the ball methodically if slowly down the field without too much risk, type of coach. Pretty much the antithesis of what Mauk offers in a QB, as he is always looking for a big "matty football" play and typically either gives that or a near disastrous if not disastrous play. There just doesn't seem to be much in between in his game which delivers an inordinate amount of 3 and outs.

You have to wonder that Printz nor Zanders could deliver none of the consistency that Pinkel obviously craves and yet there seems to be no choice in his mind other than to roll MM out and see what happens.

Now is the time in which we thank the football gods that Drew Lock was born in Mo.
