Yeah those numbers certainly aren't with Freeze, I'll agree on that

While those coaches may have been relieving less successful coaches (sans Miles taking over for Saban), the cupboards weren't barren. Zook could recruit, Tuberville could recruit, etc. The reason Saban didn't win until Year Four may have been in part to the fact he had to build LSU back up to what it was after a rough 1990s in Baton Rouge.

What Houston Nutt left for Freeze was pretty bad. There was no discipline in the program as almost the entire roster was at risk of failing out of school and it wasn't like they were talented players, either. It was a shitshow of a program. We lost to Louisiana Tech, got massacred by Alabama and LSU, etc. the year before (2-10).

Now you look at where Ole Miss is, the 2015 Rebel team would beat the 2011 team by 50, meanwhile the 2011 team would be busy beating up people at bars instead. Hopefully Freeze can keep the upward trajectory going.
