Well I got that speeding ticket on the way, but I am a lead foot and I have been deserving one for awhile. It was only for 100 bucks anyway.
We enjoyed our trip. We stayed in Hardy, AR at some reasonably priced hotel and it turned out to be fine for the price. The tailgating in Jonesboro began around noon and we set up our tailgate on the corner of Red Wolf and Aggie. Being so visible attracted other Mizzou faithful and there ended being a row of Mizzou canopies. Some of the people tailgating with us were family members of the players. It was a good post game tailgate and we watched the ends of the Oregon/Mich st and LSU/MSU games before we left.
The walk to the stadium was not bad at all. The stadium was small which was not a surprise, but they have apparently just completed some renovations that include a new press box. It looks pretty sharp.
I got a fantastic signal on my phone inside their stadium (not wifi). To the point that I was able to stream the OU/TENN game on the espn app. The biggest shocker is that I have tmobile and it worked so well, crazy.
I was surprised at the size of the crowd. I figured they would sell out for this game but they were not even close to a sellout. There were a LOT of empty seats. The stadium video board and sound were really good considering that we were in a Sun Belt stadium.
I will say this, our fans were terrible. This was without question the worst road crowd I have ever been with. The Mizzou sections were quiet most of the game and had trouble getting loud at all until the game was basically in hand. I know this is personal opinion, but I feel like all fans should at least get up on 3rd down and get loud for the defense, especially on the road. Maybe this location brought out Mizzou fans that don't go to many games? I don't know, but it was pathetic.
The few Arky state fans we talked with were very nice, although I heard someone on here had their car spit on or something. But overall it was a great time. We made it back to KC a few hours ago and everything was smooth sailing.

I wish every Mizzou fan would go to a few games at Arrowhead Stadium and take notes on what it means to be a football fan. Except for some big, close games, our fans are pretty meh.
