Peterson averaged 5.4 YPC in the big 12. He rushed 340 times as a freshman against defenses like aTm. I mean, he was good, but his next two seasons were average.

Plus Peterson still thinks a switch is an appropriate parenting device

1) Peterson's incredible freshman season was aided by the Sooner's high powered passing attack led by Jason White (Remember him? He won the Heisman once because he put up gaudy TD numbers). Peterson never ran into 9-10 man fronts like Fournette has done every game in his LSU career.

2) Peterson did get injured his sophomore year. I believe that slowed down his overall productivity not only that year, but also the next (his final year in college).
