Watching this Costner flick.
Thought it was going to be crap. It is. Mostly. But there's a nice emphasis on character. On the mind. On intangibles. On things intuitive people see with more clarity than most.
If you've seen the movie you know about the 100 bill in the back of the playbook.
You know the shitty character guy lied twice about it.
You know the good guy mailed it back, saying pay me when I win you the Super Bowl.
What would Mauk do. What would Lock do?
Mauk would take the $100 bill, get on his scooter and ride to the bar, flashing 20's in his hands, stopping by sorority row, wearing an obnoxious USA tank top.
Lock would mail it back with a heart felt note.
Lock's the better person. The more natural leader. The better soul.
He'll win this.
There is no QB controversy. Just natural selection doing its work.
