The SEC used to only play 6 conference games in the 1950-early 1970s. Some teams even played 5 games or some played 7 games. So...even when catching up with legends, it is prudent to remember the disparity in eras.

Spurrier could coach another 5 years....maybe 6, but if he is successful and has breaks fall the Cocks way? He will have to recruit better talent and keep staff intact for the most part.
