With 28 more SEC wins, Spurrier will tie The Bear for most SEC wins. (Entering this season Spurrier has 131 and The Bear 159)

Does he stay at SC long enough to do so?

I think SC is an average 4 SEC win a year team. So it would take about 7 years. I'm not sure Spurrier coaches to age 77.

I say he comes up short of Bryant's SEC win total and SC might even suffer if he tries to stretch his career just to get it.
