Tyler Russell started in every single game he was healthy to do so in. When both were healthy, he got the nod. Russell was Mullen's starter in 2013.
The only starts Dak got prior to the Bama game, all 6, were in games that Russell didn't play in at all. The other games Russell started, even when Dak was healthy. Russell's season was basically over at that point, with exception to the Arkansas game, where he played his arse off hurt and ended up severely injuring his shoulder.
Please do go look at Jameon's game stats last year.
