AU, A&M, UGA, Ole Miss, TN and maybe Miss ST, are all capable of scoring 30 points on any team. If you do not have a QB who is capable of making plays, you get pressed on both sides of the ball. What happens to running teams that get down by two scores, the Offense has a direct effect on how the Defense has to play.

Not a chance. This Bama defense is going to be elite from all reports coming out of camp. Front 7 is best in the nation, hands down. And now our secondary is actually starting to play well. Ole Miss and MSU don't have the talent to score 30+ on this defense, heck they couldn't even do it against weaker units the past two years with equal or better offensive units. UGA is a lot like us in that they do not have an elite passer ready to play in 2015. They will ground and pound which plays right into our strengths. They will be lucky to crack 20 against us (expect a 17-14 type game). Tamu? Did you see the game last year? Our defense is better this year, will not score 30+. Vols OL won't be able to handle our front 7 enough to score that much. AU is the only team in the SEC who realistically can put those numbers on us (side note, AU was the only SEC team last year to crack 23 on a much worse defense) and that remains to be seen. So like I said, nope. And I'll gladly make a friendly wager on any of those teams not scoring 30+ on this defense.

What is the difference from last year. I still do not see an elite pass rusher, and the secondary doesn't have any star returners from last year. Last year Ragland was good, but I do not understand why people think he will jump to elite. Everyone is basing it on the star ratings, until I see it on the field I do not see where the improvement will be from last year.
