I've actually ran the numbers and according to Rivals rankings Florida has only 1 more 4* on their roster than TN right now and the exact same number of 5*.

Florida has about 10 less scholarship players than TN that were recruited so the depth for UF is a bit worse but your 4* % per player is better.

But overall the talent is about as even as it can get.

But I will say that UF has a lot more upperclassmen 4 and 5* then TN because about 80% of ours are SOph's or Freshman.

So this idea that TN is some way more talented team tahn UF is probably not true.

The reasons I feel pretty good about the game is I like that we are in year 3 of our systems while UF will only be in game 3. UF has changed their O so much over the past 5 years that there is no way they'll be gelled by then. They aren't settled at QB and we are which helps our case as well.

Pretty much besides QB and comfort in the system I'd call this game a wash. UF gets a bit of help being at home but I also think that helps TN so we get away from the pressre cooker of NEyland in this streak breaking situation.

Should be a fun game but I think our DL vs your OL helps us secure the W pretty comfortably due to the QB issues.

So much quality in this post is ruined by this one sentence. Seriously, you've shown that you are one of the Vol fans on here who has a brain and common sense: Do you really think the game being played in the Swamp is a positive for Tennessee? I have thought about this for a while, and I simply cannot fathom how anybody could spin this game being played in the Swamp as an advantage for Tennessee. I don't buy the pressure from the home crowd garbage, that really sounds ridiculous. It simply makes no sense to me.
