I just don't think we have the parts on offensive line for 10 wins. Mac had something like six players when he took the job, and while we are up to 20+ on the depth chart, there isn't a lot of experience, mostly just bodies.

OL isn't glamorous, but it is essential. You can have all the great skills players you want, but if the guys up front can't block, it won't matter.

If we win 8 this year and show some signs of life on offense, I'll be plenty happy.

I think you can get ten wins, but you just need to be special as a head coach. The O-Line is undoubtedly one of the most important parts, but you can definitely scheme around ONE bad part of the offense.

The problem we've had is:

There was no O-line, running backs didn't produce, WRs dropped everything, Tight Ends could catch when it was too late, QBs couldn't do anything, Offensive Coordinator wasn't very imaginative and the Head Coach didn't inspire a single damn person.

If we can get a few of those to work, our offense will work.

Receivers catch, QB's play well, coaching staff has their stuff together, running backs play decently -- the O-Line can be somewhat off their game.

All of that coming together may prove to be difficult, but not impossible.
