yes, "for college", not all colleges.

The way the mizz fan asked his question made it seem like he thought that if you were eligible for hope, you can just get into to any state college you want. Like "oh, I have a 3.3, now I automatically get a free ride to Emory". I was just saying that all HOPE stuff is secondary to actually getting into the school.

Right. If you only meet the minimum requirements for HOPE you have almost no chance to get in UGA, Tech or Emory as a freshman, unless you're an athlete obviously.

In short, if you are accepted in to UGA, unless there are EXTREME circumstances or you're an athlete, you qualify for HOPE. It's definitely not like Texas where if you finish in the top 10% of your graduating class, you are already accepted in to UT Austin.
