returns 18 of the 22 from last year's two deep. We lost AJ, Jordan Williams, Justin Coleman, and Devaun Swofford.

We add the following players to the 18 returning:

Dillon Bates
Kahlil McKenzie
Shy Tuttle
Justin Martin
Kyle Phillips
Darren Kirkland
Austin Smith

Then several freshman that played alot last year like Todd Kelly Jr, Evan Berry, Cortez McDowell, Rashaun Gaulden should improve like Jalen Reeves Maybin did from his frosh to sophomore years.

Then you have guys like Corey Vereen and Chris Weatherd who will be in the rotation as upperclassmen.

This D will be deep and fast. They finished last year ranked #36 in total defense and did that while not returning a single D line started from 2013 and while having an offense that put them in bad spots the first half of the season.

Also, Dimarya Mixon and Kendall Vickers should be ready to help as well. Good God, we are back.

I think we will have a top 3 defense in the SEC if Mckenzie and Tuttle are everything they appear to be. Everyone is worried about LB but JRM is a stud and I like the young talent behind him (Kirkland, Bates, McDowell, Sapp, Smith, Bynum)

I think our secondary is beastly with some badass athletes.

The offense and defense are both capable of elite status.

If both sides of the ball cash in on that potential, Tennessee could crash the party a year earlier than anticipated.
