What happens to G. Dixon?

The defensive end. Keep seeing he is injured but I haven't read specifics. Anyone know?

This is also a question I have: twitter reports talked about a rod being placed in his leg, and mentioned his injury back when he was a true freshman which he was red-shirted for. I don't know what that in 2011 has to do with 2015. He suffered a hip pointer/ AC joint injury late in the season last year, but I would think he would be fine from that by now. I thought that was what sidelined him from spring camp but I could be wrong....

He has a rod in his leg. He'll miss all of fall camp, he may get a medical hardship waiver this year, but that all depends on if he can rehab in time to play. I don't think it matters from our current DL perspective though, we reloaded with DL talent this recruiting cycle, and Dixon didn't get a lot of stats last year.
