that right there is what always killed me. everyone and i mean everyone knew he wasn't wanted by hdn. he took the position anyway.

if i see a piece of gum on the sidewalk and deliberately step into it and it gets stuck on my shoe then i don't expect sympathy/empathy or anything thing else from people. i'm not sure why gus gets to step into it and then people felt sorry for him as if it was so shocking that he and hdn didn't work out.

I think moving from HS to college is a no brainer decision anywhere in the country but Texas. The money difference alone is a reason to make the move. Add to that the potential career advancement which is unlimited. It worked out great for Gus. I can't imagine any HS coach in the country wouldn't do the exact same thing. Including Chad Morris who was from Texas.
