Though, the one time we actually went for the big armed, tall pro-style guy, we got Stephen Rivers and passed on Dak

The problems is that even though Les has been at LSU for 10 years, the only QB's that anyone can really say were "his" guys from high school until graduation were Jefferson, Lee, and some backups. Perrilloux and Zach Lee would have changed the conversation, but we'll never know.

There is nothing wrong with Les' "style" per se. Stanford rose to prominence using it, Jimbo Fisher runs more of a pro-style than a spread, Saban's titles were all accomplished using the same formula, and even Bert lost three rose bowls using it.

Bad QB play is bad QB play. It doesn't matter what system its in.
