Just polished off a bottle of Yellowtail Merlot because the Rouse's on Tchoup had it at an unbeatable price: $5.99.

Sup?

I'm a fool for a good bottle of Merlot. I drink it every night and the Yellowtail is one of my go-to favorites.

But I gotta tell you, my wife gets me this box wine from the BiLo, it's called a Bota Box Merlot and I highly recommend it, I really do. Plus we do BiLo Bonus Points towards gas ... it adds up. Kroger does it too I think and they too have Bonus Points.

Second on my list of unknown cheap Merlots is Founders Oak ... you gotta try it to appreciate it.

We've had dinner parties out in the bar and I've served both in carafes as our "house wine" and we've had wine snob friends tell us how good it is .... but we never tell them it's coming out of box until late in the party and they are always amazed.

Recently read an article where "wine experts" can't tell for shite between good wine and bad wine

Give me just about any cab, and I'm a happy man

Bota Box Merlot and I highly recommend it

That sounds very familiar. I can't remember where I had it though.
