Should Terrell Davis or Hines Ward be in the mix for the UGA spot, simply because of what they did in the NFL? What about dominique because of his time in the pros?

It's the ICON of each "SEC Football Program". One would assume that means what they player did at that SEC football program.

I dont think I would say Kellen Winslow because he was an all american or in the colllege football hall of fame. I would consider him Mizzou's ICON because of the impact he left on the game. Before Winslow TE's were never really used for much more than short passes, Winslow revolutionized a position.

It's debatable he isn't even Mizzou's best TE, but Martin Rucker or Chase Coffman probably wouldn't have the careers they did, had Winslow not changed the way you can use a TE. Just my opinion though.
