So he wanted to drum up a new story for the Clarion Ledger then, and completely ruin his testimony on the police report? Sounds logical.

just because it's in a police report doesn't make it any more credible. the police report will contain any statements made by an parties and/or witnesses. they don't just jot down notes of what they believe happened. if his step father said that at the time of the incident, it doesn;t make it more credible just because it was in the police report
