I do most of the cooking because I'm much better at it and I enjoy doing it.
I help around the house with cleaning, but she does the majority of it. I also receive tangible appreciation for my efforts, even after being married 3 years with an infant. Likewise, she works and pulls down a good paycheck, and doesn't spend very much money.
