This flag does have similarities to the first official flag of the Confederacy, but the stars give it different meanings. The flag above has 20 stars representing the 20th state which is Mississippi. There is nothing racist behind that.

The seven stars represent the original Confederate States. This could be perceived as racist.

I think we need to find an alternative because of all the douche bags that have tarnished it's image over the past century. It was a battle flag like every other army has used in past centuries, not a flag that was suppose to induce fear and hatred.
