69% completion rate for 241yds/game passing, and 87 yds/game rushing, in those 5 games. if you extrapolated those 5 games out to 12, you would have played the hardest schedule likely in the history of college football. 2 BCS teams, a peach bowl LSU team, and the miss schools were bowling as well. since we are only discussing what lead to the heisman, your "5 best teams" also leaves out a 516 yard, 4 TD performance against an oklahoma team that finished(?) ranked #15 in teh AP.

for all of your cupcake talk, a&m ended up playing the 6th toughest SOS in the country in 2012 per sagarin.

oklahoma, lsu, florida, and bama all ended up ranked in sagarin's top 12.

They played in the SEC West, of course they ended up with a tough SoS. But that is the only place they had strength. Those games made up 8 of the total games on the schedule and all 5 of the games with low TD's were SEC teams.

When they played the difficult parts of the schedule, he struggled. And when he played the easier parts, he put up monster numbers.

His completion % is high because of his scrambling ability. He was able to scramble out of situations where a pocket passer is forced to throw the ball away.

Which is his best asset and what made him a good player. But don't act like he has a high completion % because he is a great passer.

It's not a coincidence he was shut down at the next level where everyone is a better defense and the backyard shite doesn't cut it.
