My top 5: 1. Texas 2. USC 3. UGA 4. Ohio State 5. Bama The top 4 are THE state institution in their state, or in Texas, one of two. However, Texas puts out so many college players they can still handpick a lot of great talent

I don't really understand your logic here except for maybe Georgia and Ohio State. I can't argue that Texas, USC, and Bama are not the premier programs in their respective states, but if you're picking schools that actually are "THE" state institution in their states couldn't you have picked a few better options? How could you not include schools like LSU (in the most unbiased way), Oregon, Tennessee,...? Yet you have Texas on top followed by USC? Those two states probably have the most competition of any state except maybe Florida in regards to competing with other schools for in state recruits. Seems quite counter intuitive to me. Enjoy a down vote.

LSU is actually a top 10 job in my opinion.

Oregon is based on a pretty gimmicky offense, and it attracts a very specific type of coach. Recruiting in Oregon is probably lower third of all states.

Tennessee probably top 15, but I think the dumpster-fire nature of the last decade has really affected national perception. No one was beating down their door for the last two openings. If Texas and USC are hiring, it's a stampede.
