That guy was such a thug POS. People like to give Fairley a hard time about that game, but Jones was instigating everything.

frick Ben Jones. Easily my most hated SEC player ever.

Really, so why did Fairley take it out on Murray? I mean, considering Ben Jones was right across from him on every play. Did Nick think to himself, "I am so mad at mean ole Ben Jones that I am gonna take 3 extra steps and spear Murray in the back"

Is that how it happened, iyo?

Yeah I think he got tired of Jones BS and decided he was going to eat Murray alive. What better way to send a message?

He really didn't even do anything malicious to Murray, Murray was just a cry baby bitch.
He stumbled after being pushed head first and it's hard to stop or pick up 300+ pounds of momentum. Maybe he aimed his fall but he didn't set out to spear Murray in the back that play.
And the face mask thing is the biggest piece of cry baby BS I've ever heard in a football game. It was obvious from the second it happened that their face masks locked up. Anybody who's played even little league football has seen that happen before.
Even if he did do that on purpose, boo freaking hoo, Murray got a scratch on his pretty face, so what? Maybe Fairley wrestled in HS. Anybody who did knows you take advantage of any little dirty thing you can. Including rubbing chins and knuckles on pressure points when your wrapped up. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't carried those techniques with me to other sports, and anybody who isn't pushing the rules and taking advantage of every single legal tactic they can to win doesn't want to win enough.
