It's possible LSU finishes that far down but and let's compare last year's teams to this years. LSU will be better this season - no mass exodus of underclassmen, return of sold OL and talented RBS and WRS, great D. Ole Miss and Miss State won't be as good as last season. Arkansas might be a bit better. Bama - maybe same as last year, with big drop on offense but better defense. Auburn - same as last year, but problems on D and new QB TXAM- not sure but long way to go on defense. And play Florida again who likely field a bad team. This is one way to look at it but it's still all about the matchups. LSU cannot score but the SEC QB class next year is weak and I don't see anyone lighting up the scoreboard. We will see

Y'all will be worse. No Chavis. Without Chavis y'all don't beat Ole Miss or Texas A&M last year and you're last in the west. It is exactly where you'd finish this season if State didn't lose so many people.
