Of the ones I've been to.

2. Athens, GA

Should be #1. Had an absolute blast when I went last time LSU was there. The only negative I had was that some UGA fans were huge assholes, but I attribute that to being an opposing fan and didn't let it bother me.

3. Oxford, MS

Ehh I guess it's ok where it's at. I think it belongs top 5 no doubt and I've never been to Knoxville or Nashville to really move it anywhere other than here.

5. Baton Rouge, LA

If LSU had better college bars other than the dump tigerland we could easily be even higher I think. I'm also biased though.

7. Auburn, AL

Outside of Athens, my favorite opposing school I've been to. Been there 3 times now and had a blast each time. There may not be many bars, but sky bar is a bad arse bar and makes up for that. Plus the little party houses next to some of the fraternity houses were some fun parties.

10. College Station, TX

Outside of northgate there really isn't much that I liked about it.

quote:

13. Columbia, SC

Went to visit a childhood friend who went to school at USC. Really didn't know what to expect in Columbia, but when I got there I was kind of shocked at how much of a dump everything was. Plus the stadium not even being that close to campus is dumb. Nontheless I had a good time.

I pretty much gauge a college town on how drunk I got there and how much fun I had. The thing is I've gotten plastered and had a blast at all of them, so I'd make a terrible critic.

Aren't y'all developing the whole strip by Magnolia Mound? I saw renderings of a trolly running from the edge of downtown (surrounded by new bars and restaurants) all the way to Tiger Stadium.

Would be epic.
