Not sure why you're still digging that hole of yours. Again, this is documented and not by college sources and homer sites but by media both national and local (when the nickname happened). You're basically arguing with well known facts and history. No one's arguing that having a place called the strip is particularly unique but the reason why Cumberland Ave is called that IS unique.

No it's not. You are arguing that it is called "the strip" because students streaked on it in 1974. You should know the history of your city. Heres a damn paper from one of your graduate students on the history of the area It became "the strip" in the 1920s. He even mentions the comparison to other college strips
