Dickson Street is sort of a microcosm of NW Arkansas. There are hipsters, old school hillbillies, hell you might even find one of the few remaining hippies, and assorted and sundry there.

Once vast herds of hippies used to mill about on Dickson St, which I still call Dixon St. when I am not being careful. We were eventually able to cull the herd. Some were relocated to Eureka Springs. Others were put down humanely.

Now a days it is a fairly upscale location. There are bars a plenty, some excellent dining, and, if you are lucky, drunken spring break coeds.

In all honesty, while it isn't my scene, Dickson Street is one of the nicest college pub crawls you can find.
