Yep, and clemson is in bumfrick nowhere and you have to drive to another location if you want to do anything.
If I were a clemson fan I wouldn't talk about any other southern campus except for maybe Starkville.

can't think of one thing that knoxville offers that clemson doesn't, that anybody cares about. more restaurants/retail stores does not mean there is 'more to do'. The main appeal of going to school at Tenn is proximity to mountains which is going to require some driving.
miss state looks like a nice campus but it is not that comporable to Clemson b/c Clemson is nestled in the foothills of the mountains next to a lake and it is between two largest cities in southeast and near the most populated county in SC. Starkville is a lot more isolated
