Also Marshall is kind of the veteran if he was getting more reps or going first it's because they wanted him to set the tone for the younger guys. Chubb and michel haven't gone through spring workouts yet. I hope Keith Marshall has a great season and gets back in the groove. We need him and AJ both to contribute given our recent battles with injuries to RBs

Y'all are really selling Keith short. I realize that most people will remember what's recent, which for him would be a lackluster '14 before being sidelined, and missing the second half of '13. Keith is far more than being "just fast". Yes that's his biggest attribute, but he's much more than just a chris rainey type that can only run really fast in a straight line.

For starters, he's proven to be an asset out of the backfield. Remember this catch against nebraska? LINK I don't know how many RBs we have that could do that...adjust when the play breaks down then reach across the body while tightroping the sideline.

In this gif, he runs straight into the teeth of the defense, makes a shifty move, and is gone.

This one doesn't look very fancy, but he eludes a tackler behind the LOS, follows a block and cuts back and is gone

And here we see him fake someone so bad the guy is still probably embarrassed

Nobody is going to confuse KM's style for gurley/chubb/turman. He's not a bruiser, but he doesn't need to be. When Keith is 100% he is an excellent running back, and it's kind of confusing that people are knocking him. No he's not as good as gurley and chubb, but based on what we actually KNOW I damn sure wouldn't say he's behind turman.
